Project Description
A profile-raising video created for the annual fundraising Gala Dinner, this year honoring the English department teachers. When I make short films for schools, my favorite parts are always the students speaking directly to me – in this one, the last third of this film. This time the questions asked were: What’s your favorite author? What’s you favorite book? And, (most fun) What’s your favorite word?
What I love about this video is that it does more than just show the honorees. It conveys what its like to be a student of the school, the richness of the experience. It captures the warmth and friendliness between the students. Their authenticity, their humor. It touches your heart whether or not you are a parent.
